Julia Nickson

  Julia was a top model in Honolulu, where the Singapore-born beauty was enrolled at the Univerisity of Hawaii, when she appeared in her first play, Shakespeare's Winter's Tale. That led to acting classes, community theater and roles on Magnum P.I. Then, whe she won out over hundreds of contenders for the female lead in Rambo: First Blood Part II, Julia also won over a legion of fans worldwide who have followed her acting career ever since! An accomplished polo player, equestrian and jockey, with skills including jazz, ballet, rapier and dagger, kickboxing and firearms, Julia speaks Malay, Indonesian and French. Some of her starring roles are in the films China Cry, Ethan Mao and Sidekicks; the minisseries Around the World in 80 Days, Genghis Khan, and James Clavell's Noble House; TV shows like Jag, The Division, Babylon 5 and Nash Bridges; and such stage productions as Mid Summer's Night Dream, Fabric, Four and Voices of Hiroshima.
