Dennis Dun

  Dennis is a veteran of stage, TV and film. He began acting at the Asian-American Theatre Company in San Francisco, working in the early plays of Tony Award-winning playwright David Henry Hwang and the acclaimed Philip Kan Gotanda. Dennis wrote and acted in Gianat Oranges, a solo performance piece commissioned by the Mark Tapers Forum and produced by Chay Yew's Solo Works Festival. He has appeared onstage at East West Players, Lodestone Theatre and Berkeley Repertory Theatre, and has participated in both the film and theatre labs at Sundance. On TV, Dennis costarred for three seasons on NBC's Midnight Caller, and has guest starred on such shows as Jag, The nanny, Charmed and The Bernie Mac Show. He is in My Life Disoriented, a PBS program about a Chinese American family in Bakersfield. Dennis is also in such movies as The Last Emperor, Big Trouble in Little China, Year of the Dragon, Up Close and Personal, My American Vacation and 1000 Pieces of Gold.
